I have BBK longtubes, a Dr. Gas offroad X, and the Mac dumps on top of high compression heads and an E cam. It literally gives me chills everytime i start it. I used to have open longtubes and even though it was loud it was just noise. This setup sounds rediculous. Its somewhat raspy but VERY deep too. I let one of my friends drive my car in front of me once and i just laughed because i couldn't believe it was my car in front of us that was making the sound it was.
I had longtubes,d-pipe, sportsmans dumped at a 45* angle to the ground. I got a pretty annoying drone right at 1700 rpms and thats it. Would putting the dumps angled toward the outside of the car at the same 45* angle help?
I know dumps will drone but i was wondering if there was a way to minimize it.
