alright so i blew my motor a while back and fianlly have a new one ready for install, and i bought a set of flotech longtubes. now i did my research and i know that most people have said the quaitly did not look good but they have had good luck thus far. so im taking my chance with them but my mechanic buddy whos doing the install is convinced they will leak, and i bought a brand new set of ford gaskets (had to buy 4 though because the gaskets are only 2 ports now, not sure if that makes any difference), which my buddy says they are junk! he says the flotech better are better because they are more of a spongey texture, and i have no valid argument except for the research i did where mostly everyone says ford gaskets are the best. any advice would helpp .. thankss guyss

I have been running Flowtech LT's for 2 years with the Ford gaskets and no issues.

Ask him when the Flowtech seals don't hold, is he willing to re-do the job again for free?
