Well, I got sick of the mushy stock suspension on the car really quick. I debated about whether to go with Eibach or FMS springs, then decided on FMS; then debated about whether to go with "B" springs or "C" springs, and finally decided on "C"s, since it seems quite a few here have "C" springs and are happy with 'em. Then I started looking around and was about to go with KYB shocks, but found a great deal on a full set of Bilsteins, so I bought 'em!

Anyway, after a long day of installation (I felt STOOPID 'cause it took me about 8 hours to get the drivers side front done :bang: , but after that it was smooth and easy) I put her back on the ground and went for a drive, and WHAT A CHANGE!!! The look isn't all that different. It's subtly different, but I don't think a non-stanger would look at it and know it had lowering springs on it. But the ride quality is totally transformed - really solid, but not stiff to the point of feeling every bump in the road. The steering is MUCH more responsive and there's no more body roll, and the rear end sway is much less. I attached some before and after pics.

Next up: subframes!

How's the ride now?

Stellar! It's not rough at all. Well, at least it's not what I consider rough, but my other vehicle is an F250, so I suppose it's all relative. But I was a little worried that I'd be feeling every little bump in the road, and that isn't the case at all. It's just really solid, but not rough.
