fms drive shaft to much (options)??

i was wondering how much the average price for a shop to rebalance stock drive shaft would be . Is it worth it , would it work , or should i just save.

change gears now vibrates after 75 mph. Thanks for replies.

Just bite the bullet and get the FMS shaft. Sure, it's pricey now... but it's worth it in the long run. Twice the strength, and half the weight... clears most all drivetrain vibrations right up.

FRPP MSRP $280

i'd go to a juckyard and find a good F150 aluminum drive shaft and have it shortened tot he correct length. F150 and Mustang use the same universal joint and I'm pertty sure the FRPP driveshaft is a shorter F150 shaft.

Should cost a lot less, and give same result.

You can get them from buyfordracing.com for like $200 or something, its not bad, its better to buy one of them

I was quoted $80 to get the stocker balanced. Being that the FMS piece is now $240 or more, balancing the stocker sounds like a good economy measure.

When I switched to a 5 speed, I just broke down and got the FMS one.
