Been fiddling with my 69 coupes FMX. It wasnt shift so i ajusted the front and rear bands, changes the fluid and filter. I now have a strong first gear , reverse, and 3d gear. Second catchs sometimes but mostly slips. The ajustment is as far out as the screw will go for the band. New band? And if so....is it possible to replace while in the car?
