Focus Fuel Pump on a Stock Engine?

I have a SC on order and in the meantime I'm having some suspension mods being done. When the SC arrives I am going to install it myself but I really don't feel like dropping the gas tank and installing the SVT Focus fuel pump which is included with the SC kit.

Can I drive this car with the fuel pump installed for a few weeks without the SC or do I have to do the entire SC including the new fuel pump at the same time?

install the pump.. it's easy to drop the tank, you don't even have to take the filler neck out just lower the tank on the other side and support it and then remove the pump. just remmeber to run the car low on gas unless you liek wearing it.

+1 took me only about an hour to do in my driveway with basic hand tools.

I'm using a SVT focus fuel pump because the stock one broke. Works fine without any issues. I data logged using xcal2 and the pressure is exaclty the same as the stock pump (when it worked).
