finally got tired of the reflector in the fog lights falling of.used sharp knife to break the seal.take awhile to get it started but if the knife is sharp,it will workonce its started about 1-2 inches use a sharp putty knife to wedge in and break the seal all the way around.once you do that the lens will come off.cleaned the lens and the inside of the light.used liquid nails to reattach the metal reflector.seal the lens with something that will take the heat

And your gut...always point the knife away from you and you will be fine

So what exactly was happening with your reflector? was it falling against the lens and scratch/marring/creating noises?

Why did you put those cage 'things' back in? They don't really do anything do they - as far as I'm concerned, they take more reflective light away (minimal i know)

Mine melted off and fell inside the reflector when I swapped out my stock bulbs for Nokya yellow fogs in there. It looks ghetto as hell and I hate it.

Walter.........................would you re-install the cage back in tho, or just take it out after you get the lens pryed apart - that would be really annoying knowing that thing is just floating around the bottom of the light housing

Nah i'd probably ditch the cage thing altogether. I'd be sure to plug up the two holes the thing leaves when it falls off just in case water decides to get in there. Lucky for me the cages fell and stuck at the bottom flat. It almost makes it looks like the fogs are pedestal mounted like the driving lamps on Mini Coopers or off road trucks I guess I'm lucky in that respect.

I noticed mine are starting to droop. I guess I'll try this and just take them out.
