Fog lights wont turn on?

so I just bought fog lights for my gt...put them in,hooked the switch up to the grey connector, the only one it would fit, fip the switch and nothing..

the switch didnt light up and the fog lights wont turn on...

Any ideas?

Stupid question, but did you have your headlights on when you tried to turn the fogs on? 94-98 needed the headlights on, it was the New Edge SN95 models that could have the fogs on with just the parking lamps.

but yes, my headlights were on..

Im not sure what to do so Im gonna try and use the power from the vert ahrness and see if I get powr..that should work

Where the GTS versions prewired for foglamps? I remember those being basic on options.

A multimeter should help you trace the problem as well.

Fog Lights

Maybe the fog lights it self who had damage, pls. check it before you install it.

I believe that there is a relay under the hood for the fog lights,maybe its out,not sure if Ford wires relays in but my z28's and Ta's Ive had before had relays.

Make sure you check all your fuses, you could have blown one when you were wiring it all up

YEs start with the basics and check your fuse, your foglight relay, and your foglight cutout relay might be stuck closed(cut out fogs when highbeams are on)

Then get a multi meter and check to make sure you have power and ground.

Did you make sure your high beams werent on if so the fogs will be off!!!!

lol...yea, thats what it was...I figured it out a couple hours after I posted this...

Ive got smoked headlights and always have my high beams on.

Some where in this forum "someone will know" But you can change the wires in the fog light switch and they will come on when you have just the parking lights on and they even stay on with the high beams also, I did it and love it!

I already did it....well, I wired it to the vert harness

They will come on whenver I flip the switch

My parking lights dont even have to be on
