Hi guys I have a question and I'm hoping that some one can help me out.
I recently installed some sequential turn signals for my rear taillights and the only problem I had was the when I was bolting the right taillight back in, some of the wires got smashed together and when they were tightened down they got stripped and shorted out. This blew out one of my flasher fuses, once I checked my wiring I fixed the problem and replaced the fuse and now my turn signals work fine and I thought everything was going good. However driving the other night I noticed that when I have my headlights on, my instrument panel doesn't light up (gauges, radio lights, airconditioner lights, etc) but everything works. I also noticed that my foglights wont turn on nor will the button light up that turns them on. My running lamps wont work either (the first position when your going to turn your lights on)or my tailights won't come on with my headlights on, (but my turn signals and brake lights work with the headlights on) I figured that when I shorted the tailights out it blew a different fuse too but I check all of the fuses under the dash and they all seem good. I'm now thinking that it may be one of the high voltage fuses under the hood but I don't know of anyway to check if they are good or not? What do you guys think the problem is now? I know my wiring is right for the changes I made. Is it possible that shorting those 3 wires together blew out a different fuse besides my tailights? I think I'll take it to the dealership but I don't know if they will work on my electrical system or not? Any ideas on what I should do next? Thanks in advace.

By the way my vehicle is an 04' Mach1

The fuse for all the lights you mentioned is located under the hood, in the fuse and relay box mounted on the driver's side. Remove the plastic cover. Standing to the driver's side, there is a row of relays along the right, and a row of 12 "maxi" fuses along the center. In that row, the parking lamp fuse is third in from the fender, green, 30Amps.

Sweet man thx, that was it! I bought a 2 dollar fuse and i'm back in business thanks a lot. Man and I know I looked over some of those fuses in there too but never checked that one. Thanks for your help.
