I've gone to autozone 5 times today I can't find a belt that fits now that I have the stock pullies on. Here's a few things for thought. I have a 3G alternator with the pully that came with it which is bigger than the stock pully that I received. The belt will probably fit if I put the stock pully on the alternator, but I'm not sure if the pully I received was off a 3G or a smaller alternator; so that is a concern. Also, I have no smog equipment and I do have my air conditioner installed. Can anyone running a similar setup give me a belt size? This is driving me up a wall. So should I install the stock pully on the alternator or get a specific belt? Any help would be appreciated.

The tried and true method is to use a ball of string and run it around all your pullies using the correct routing. Take off half an inch for the tensioner (or run the string over the tensioner pully and don't take half an inch off) and presto. Your new belt size.

Edit: Did I mention that you should then measure the string?

5 belts? you gotta be kidding me. you havent come close to one and have it be just a lil to big or a lil to small and then you jump to the next size? do the string thing like daggar said. dont know if you know or not but check it. A 455k6 is a 45.5, 6 rib belt and a 560k5 is a 56 in 5 rib belt. just thought id throw that out there, it helped me when dealing with belts. made it easier to understand.
good luck though

If you do end up in some crazy circumstance where you're inbetween sizes -- get the smaller size and take out the top bolt of the alternator. Put the belt on and put the bolt in the alternator outside of the mount -- it will hold. Run the belt for a day and it will stretch. Then redo the alternator the right way.

I got one that's pretty damn close right now, if I change the alternator pully it'll fit. I have a 770K6 belt right now I believe, do they make a 78?
