Decent night for the first few runs. Ran a 13.4 @ 104.5 with a 2.1 60. On the run my throwout bearing seized I believe so looks like I have another project for next weekend.

Hiltonizer, did you beat the minicooper?

I tied with the mini-cooper... both of us got 14.55... but he had like an extra 10mph on me... damn nitrous.

I guess he got it down to 13.5 later in the night tho :-o

I won't be until I get this car fixed. Crappy weather makes it hard to drop the tranny. I'm going for mid 12s this season on motor only. That is my goal.

i may... if its gonna be cool enough. I don't see the point in going to run in 90 degree air again.

whatever you run at epping, take off half a second and thats your run at Englishtown

Jaymac, weds and fri's are street nights at epping... you're probably 40-50 minutes away from it.

Yeah, I'm right off 125, so I can take that all the way to Epping. I've driven by it on trips up North, but I've never been in!
I'll have to read up on the website for the rules and reg's, but I'm assuming that different wheels and tires would improve my times (see sig).
Anybody have any ideas/ suggestions?

Also, what times and costs are involved?
Thanks guys!
J

on street nights the gates open at 5, racing starts at 6. It's $17 to race

How many times do you typically get to run? Is it $17 for the whole night?

Do you guys run on your street tires? If not, is there a place where you can keep your other tires, empty your trunk, keep your swaybar, etc?

i got there at 5:30 last week and got 5 runs in before it rained out at 7:30

after 7-8 it gets pretty busy and you might only get 2 or 3 runs before close at 10.

I run streets, drag radials are allowed. No slicks on street nights. Muffled cars only.

There is a pit area, but I dont think you can leave parts lying about. Never had to myself.
