What should it be wrapped in after running it to location? Originally it was tape wrapped I believe for a 67. But I have seen some people using conduit and stuff. what have you done? Any tips for installing a harness? I am starting the install this weekend of my Painless Kit and hope that it will go smoothly. Any tips would be great. Thanks guys.

wiring tape

Look at National Parts Depot and buy their wiring tape. It is just like factory with no sticky. However, it will when you stretch it, stick to it's self and works great. I just did my whole front wiring with lot's of extras with it. Looks original and clean.

You can buy wire insulating tape at "home depot/ lowes" in the electrical section near the standard electrical tape, it is thicker than the standard tape and when stretched sticks to itself. We use it to protect wiring in a/c systems from vibration damage. You could also use the black flexable wire conduit sold at kragen autozone etc...

i have wired about 10 cars and my favorite way is to use tie straps about every 3 inches also there is a braided wrap that painless sells as well as many other companies that looks real nice, or shrink tube.
