I've seen a 95 Saleen run under 12 on street tires and 18" wheels so I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. You KNOW you have a monster when you've gone that quick. Still, you could probably eat some 700hp Supras pretty easily with how you're driving.

Very sick, my freind got a 03 cobra and raced it and was trapping at 115 with just cat-back, mid pipe and K&N FIPK. He ran a 13.4 but he is teh suck at driving cause his last car was a auto.

Thanks for all the replies everyone..

mystang - yea the car is a blast to drive on the street. The power comes on fast and stays with the car till over6k rpms. With the 6spd tranny, highway cruising isnt bad at all. I have the stock 3.55 gears still, and with all the power it puts down racing from a roll in 4th gear at low rpms is more then enough to pull on most cars, which is a blast

Joe - I had originally planned to pull the IRS in favor of a solid axle, but with the way this thing launchs im not touching it. It launchs very well, and handles even better. Its nice to goto the track run 11's, then go through some twisties on the way home. What a great all around car.
And no i havent had the VC off yet, and hopefully i never have to!

Swinginline - i go through the traps in 4th gear, im not sure what rpm, i didnt really pay attention to it. Ill pay closer attention to it next time up.

Low 5.0 - Yea i think 11's on the street tires whould be easy. Im so close as it is, just shifting a tiny bit faster would be more then enough to get me a 11.999. I dunno if ill actually try though, i rather shoot for a 11.40 on the DR's for braging rights

Dave - let me know your outcome, ill be very interested in it.. You have DR's right? Just make sure if u get any wheelhop to get off the gas immediatly. And yea get that pulley already!! And send the eaton to apten.

Vibrant - the irs realy launchs well, unlike what most people say. I guess having the bushings, shocks, and subframes makes all the difference though.

Rio - Yea we will set up a day to all make it up to the track for a final run before winter..

I do have a vid of my 11 second run, ill try to post it up later.. Its pretty low quality though. Charlie video taped it with his digital camera. I was racing my friends 10 second race car.

You wanna know why the track is all nice again? 1. All the stupid ricers are back in school. There is still quite a few there that track water from the waterbox onto the track. 2. They paved the main entrance!!!!!! No more dirt road lol.

seeing as how we are the same age, being 21, what the hell do you do for a living? I just picked up some ASP pulleys and was like damn that's a hundred bucks!!

then you start the 418 build-up which is ridiculous in and of itself, then you turn around and pick up an '03 Cobra, tweak it, and bang out mid 11 second passes while granny shifting. Definately post when you're heading to epping again, I'll try to make it.

by the way the ol' X pipe still turns heads.

LOL, im an electrician, my dad has a small business.. I do ok Im in the process of getting my license, thats when ill start really raking in the dough.

Keep in mind, i had soooo many aftermarket parts from my old car, after i sold the car and all the parts i had 10k just from that stuff. And i still have 2k heads sitting in cellar, those are next to be sold.

Ill keep u posted as to when i plan to head up again, ill be going one last time this season.

NIN - insurance is crazy in MASS, i pay 5400 a year. It will go down to around 3000-3300 next september(6 years of driving). This car is worth every penny though, i love it!

Thats funny lol

If you do go on a test and tune day(sat or sun) there are usually all serious cars.. No stupid 18 second ricers wasting everyones time, which is very nice and well worth the extra $$$.
