I bought a freshly rebuilt T-5 to get my car back on the road without a third AND fourth gear grind. I put it in over the weekend, and the thing shifts pretty tough. There is no grinding, but shifting is not nearly as easy as my stock trans was. Is this normal on a fresh rebuild? Does a rebuilt trans have a break in period? Thanks for any advice guys.
P.S. Its cold as heck in Iowa, but getting the trans up to temp only helped slightly.
