Noticed Ford racing has this officially available (M9424-463V) for $600. Looks great, cheaper than the C&L but has anybody seen numbers on either FI or NA applications?

It's on their site but to my knowledge my rep says it's not available yet, atleast it wasn't 2 weeks ago when I asked.

Can you get that intake cover separately? I honestly like that one better than any other I've seen. The intake could be damn nice too at that price. I can't wait to see the dyno numbers on it.

It's been on the FRPP website for months, I've had it on mine for 2 months but it's still not available for sale.

And......? What do you work for the CIA keeping this a secret? how's it run? what kind of gains did you experience?

Looks great!

Walter,
I think he means that he has it listed on his website, not actually installed on his car.

Heh my bad I got ahead of myself because it looked so awesome! I wonder how it'll run on these cars because I was thinking really hard about a nice N/A build with a stroker and this may be just what the doctor ordered.

I hear you Walter I was excited myself when I saw it on the FRPP site, I too would like to build an N/A motor. All I know about the manifold is that it was installed on an N/A car and tested, it does have enough flow where that particular car spun all the way to 7,500RPM unfortunately it did not make any negligible HP gains, it is designed for centri blowers or turbo, for N/A applications high lift cam shafts and LT headers would be required for any real HP gains much like the C&L counterpart.

CAn't wait for it to come out...w/ my V3 HO Intercooled and straight through exhasut it should make huge gains w/ the whipple single blade throttle body and a re-tune...

I'm thinking, this intake + Single blade throttle + Steeda UDP + Cams + Hellion Turbo Kit = WIN

That just may be where I'm headed...

I'm a little disappointed at the C&L intake.

In the new MM&FF on cold runs stock manifold, TB and CMRC in tact the C&L with single blade TB and obviously no CMRC it made 40 peak RWHP at around 6,800 RPM but not much else through most of the run the C&L actually makes less power then stock. I hope the FRPP manifold is better.

I know... heh trust me I know

Step 1 get the flow

Step 2 get the forced induction.

It sounds really good to me I like how modular you can make this. Think about a nice low spool turbo unit to pick up the slack of the possible torque loss at low RPM and then open up the breathing up top where the cams take over. If done right the power would completely across the band.
