I might need a relatively quick answer on this one ...
My mother ordered her 05 GT Convertible as soon as Ford was letting people do so. It was supposed to arrive on July 27th, and did not. The dealership told her another few weeks. It didn't arrive. After a bit of back and forth, she took her business to another dealership who advised that she switch her order to an 06, which would have a higher value due to the time it would take to get an 05.
For the last few weeks, she has been back and forth with the second dealership. Every week, they say it'll be another week. I have not a single clue what in god's name could be taking so long for this car to arrive, but it is driving her mad, as well as me. The dealership says it'll be here by the beginning of November, which is about a full year from when she ordered her original 05 GT Convertible.
My question to you fellas is this ... what can we do in order to get the dealership moving on this deal. I know they have no hand in how quickly the car is made, but I have a feeling that they just aren't doing everything in their power at the moment. What can my mother (or I) possibly do in this situation? Thanks in advance.
