Ford Fuel Injection Website

Either they lost their domain name (same thing as web site name) or their server or web site is being upgraded or moved.

I found their web site very useful and it seemed to have lots of information that was not available elsewhere.

WTF Ford. I loved that site. I hope it all gets resolved. There was a lot of good (and apparently copyrighted) material there.

I've never been to that site, but I have to assume that they were putting up pictures of Ford service manual pages or something along those lines. Ford doesn't take kindly to that sort of thing.

All of the diagrams I remember seeing on there were hand-created by the guys who ran the site.

It was a very, very good resource, hopefully they get it up and running again soon.

If there was any legal problems that caused the web site shutdown, it probably was the use of the trademarked name "Ford". Big companies have a habit of cracking down on anyone who uses their name or trademarks without their express consent or permission.

Their other site, RJM Injection Tech — Welcome is still up and running. It is the sales site for a lot of the wiring products for Mustangs.

From the domain registration information, their registration data changed on 11/20/2011.

My guess it that its is likely the fact they they used "Ford" in their domain and company name. In fact, it's surprising that Ford took this long since Ford did their big "we are *****s" cleanup ?5-10 years? ago. And, their domain name, and company name were well known in the forums and Ford community. So, it makes me wonder why Ford decided to do something about their name now. It may be that when Ford was doing their cleanup a while back, FordFuelInjection was still pretty small. But, that didn't seem to matter with many other companies at that time.
