you dont really need a GT pump unless you're going over 430 RWHP.which i dount as long asyou still have the stock bottom end.

a focus pump will get the job done and it is a direct drop in replacement

Not sure ho easy the focus pump maxes, but I personally wouldnt even waste my time with one . BUT I like to push my car LOL. Im actually now maxing out TWO Ford GT pumps out now...stock bottom end. Ill be throwing it on the dyno in a few weeks....but im thinking it should be around 550RWHP@ 11.5PSI. I have already ran it once at over 12#s, so ill probbaly do that as well on the dyno.

My GT pumps are ok @ 10PSI until around 6K and a little sooner @ 11.3. 12+ PSI it was @ 11.8 A/F by 5800RPM I think. I think the reason they are maxing is because im hardly seeing any foltage to them....I know for a fact it was a little over 7Vs with the single GT pump...that seems WAY low to me.

that voltage sounds WAY too low. you should not be close to maxing them out yet.

did you get your modded FPDM yet?

Yep its the STG 2 FPDM. Pricey little thing too!

And yea thats what I thought....ill try adjusting my volatge tables in my tune though and see what happens...although it should automatically increase voltage as my car needs it. And yea im not too happy about maxing them out LOL....I am still wanting to pushing this stock motor, but cant do it safely if im running out of fuel.

Ya, neither would I. Oh, wait, mine is already maxed out and I estimate around 400-430whp.

My cobra tank/pumps are going in soon. Those and a BAP will hand 600whp no problem

The guy from lethal told me the stock GT pumps in the stock hat/lines could only handle 550-570whp. After that you need dual 6an lines running to the fuel rail.

I say you just buy the Fore hat from lethal. It's pricey but it saves tons of time and hassle!

They already have a GT tank hat, BUT this NEW GT tank hat will have an integrated baffle dealy so no need for the cobra tank

This is the modified hat I had already bought. The seller just upgraded to the fore hat, but I dont see it flowing any better than the 2 seperate lines the modified stocker has. But it does look alot better haha.

haven't gotten around to checking it yet. i had a raptor and switched to a livewire for datalogging. just haven't set the livewire up for logging yet. spent too much time on the motorcycle.

Yes if you EVER plan on pushing your stock motor past the normal 8PSI that most run. If your certain that you wont push it and just arent that sortof person, go for the plug and play focus setup.
Another thing is once you start maxing your fuel system....thats not a good thing at all. A high duty cycle will decrease fuel pump life....same with the fuel injectors if you run them at a high duty cycle. Also remember that as fuel pumps age, their performace drops off, so keep that in mind if any of you are on the edge. Thus the reason why I have a wideband A/F sensor and I always monitor it.

Gotcha....and nice upgrade Let me know tho when you get around to logging it, im very curious as to what your duty cycle is. ALSO could you please remeber to also log actual pump voltage ("FPUMP VOLTS TAB") and let me know how many volts its seeing.

For example while im looking at my log.

10PSI, up hill with the SINGLE GT pump in 3rd gear.
I went 100% duty cycle @ 4855RPMs and 7.69Vs. Now my DC stayed @ 100% and slightly above, but my volts kept climbing and by 5779RPM my voltage had crept to 8.38. SO something is weird. Im thinking its using the Voltage tables in my tune to determine 0-100% at any given flow rate and pressure and then when it goes max, it starts slowly adding voltage to keep fuel pressure.

Ok I jsut checked my tune and think I figured out my problem. I cross refrenced my logged fuel flow rate at the top of 3rd (2.54...not sure if thats GPH or LPH or what) with the voltes seen at that point (8.38) to my tune. And well in my fuel pump voltage table it shows a flow rate of 2.49 needs 7.31V @ 39.69 Delta fuel pressure.
BINGO. My PIDs are also adjusted down so that it cannot adjust pump voltage rapidly, as it was making my fuel pressure bounce at idle. Ill change them up and see what happens.
