Ford has shocked me!!!!!!!!!

I went on the Ford.com website and registered my 04 F150 and my 05 Mustang V6. I bought used and didnt get the window sticker on the F150 so I dont know exactly what options my truck came with.

I sent them an e-mail last week requesting a copy of the window sticker. I received a nice email this morning explaining that the factory generates the window stickers as a vehicle is being built and that it is not possible to get a duplicate one.

They can provide me a copy of the build sheet and I will receive it in the mail 4-6 weeks from now.

Im shocked, I sent that e-mail about 10 days ago, never got a reply and figured they were blowing me off.

Sometimes Ford does things right. Ive bought 7 new or nearly new Fords in the past 15 years, usually get good service, always liked the products.

Do a search for "Kzinti". I got a copy of my window sticker and I haven't even seen my car yet.

I bought a 2003 Mach 1 new a couple of years ago. The window sticker had been misplaced by the dealer because he had the car for almost a year. The dealer requested and got me a new sticker. Ask your dealer. He should be able to do it.

Not BS, The differance is that the window stick you got was produced at the time of the car being built or invoiced, his vehicle was used.
