Can someone help me with some p/n's? I brought my car in for service and I think they might have over charged me.

Transmission fluid
xt*2*QSM Fluid
How much fluid is in one of those? They charged for 5.

Differential fluid
XY*75W140*QL Oil
They charged for 4.

The real pisser is, TA*31* sealant, they charged $20.79 for silicone sealant. Did they use the hole tube?

I know the fill amount, I am looking for the size of the bottles that go with the p/n. I want to go in there and fight this.

why would they use TA-31, wouldn't they use TA-29?

also, why didn't they charge you for XL-3?

o and yes the sealer is billed as a tube, and yes the tech used whatever needed from the tube and threw the rest away, that is how its done in a dealer.

also, complain all you want, but if you authorized the amount, you are stuck with it.

I'm still fighting them on the diff fluid. They claim since I had an axle seal replaced they needed 4 quarts to refill the axle tubes. WTF, the seals are at the ends of the axle near the tires.

4 quarts is common to hand out. usually 3 or 4 quarts and the xl-3 and you're good. like i said, have fun arguing it, as long as you authorize it, there is no getting out of it.

yeah, if your filling a Dana 60 or a Sterling 10.50 rear.
fact is a 8.8 does not take anymore than 2 qts and I'd fight it, at @$20.00 qt retail, they burned you for @$40.00. I say go get'em
