Ford show in Joliet!

How many of you guys are going to the NMRA Ford Nationals in Joliet this weekend?? What day/s are you going? I'm debating going after work on saturday(2:30ish) or just spending the whole day on sunday. Are any of you guys entering in the car show? If so how do you do it? We should try to set something up. Check out each others cars.

I'm going for sure Saturday and possibly Sunday. I think for the car show you just show up and tell them you are entering the car show. I went to this last year and it was the best Mustang event I've ever been too.

Yeah Its a really good car show. I wonder if its even worth it to enter my car in the show. I dont want people making fun of it and all because I dont have a supercharger or nitrous. I think it looks good with the Cobra hood, bumper and Chrome R's. Although, my steering wheel looks horrible, damn leather peeling off!!

Last year there were plenty of cars that weren't too out of the ordinary. But there were also some cars that probably had tens of thousands invested. I think everyone respects a good looking Mustang no matter how suped up it is. I'm probably not going to enter. But I can't wait to be there!

I agree. I've been to alot of shows over the years and have seen hundred thousand dollar masterpieces parked right next to bone stock rides. It all boils dows to a love of the Ford Mustang and if you have that any true stang enthusiast will respect it!

This is a great show tons of vendors and some great racing (i'll be watching from the skybox ) and you can't pass up the free dyno they have there,It will be back this year from what I'm told.Everyone just pray for better weather then the hurrican we got slammed with last year

I always put my car in the show. I think it's $25 to register for the show for sunday. That's including admission ofcourse. Ive even won a couple trophies over the years, and if I dont then I look at it as premium parking for a few dollars more.

Where is the free dyno?? I didn't see it last year.

I believe steeda ran it it was towards the end of the vendors it was a big flatbed truck its free to run and it was $20 if you wanted your graph read out

I'm planning to show the 03 SVT Focus. It's stock and silver. That or I'll bring out the T-bird. I'm not really 100% sure right now.

jefferson st on the westside is where people meet and streetrace for money lots of money. just have to watch out for sontags they have some fast chevys up there. if you want to know how fast put it this way they have a speed supplie shop!! alot of fast fords every weekend up there too!!
