It should run pretty late this year considering it's now a 1 day event, but I don't know for sure.

No racing for me this time. I'm not legal w/o a battery shut off switch.

I'm going with Aaron and his chick. Bro is not going.

It's only a 1-1/2 hour drive, right?

WTF do you need a battery shut off for?

I thought Aaron was going to Vegas. And I suppose he's not going to run his 95 GTS either. U Pu**ys!

I can make it there in an hour and 10 min. I'd leave little earlier than 9 if I were you. It's going to be busy.

Weather is suppose to be in the low 80's. Should be able to run some good times if the humidity is good!

Battery is in the trunk so I have to have a shut off switch.

He's in Vegas but coming back tomorrow. But yeah, we are pussies and won't be racing. Are you? Is there heads up and brackets there?

Gates open at 9 so maybe I'll leave at 8ish.

I didn't know you had your battery in the trunk. That makes sence though now that you mention it. I see you like your car just like your women- lot's of junk in the trunk!

There are a quite a few bracket's, how many exactly I'm not sure. I'll either be running in the Street class or Mod Motor (Modular engine cars only) Havn't decide yet.

Leaving at 8 sounds like a better idea to me. You never know when M-DOT is going to shut down a freeway and screw someones weekend up. Just better night tie one on Friday night like you did at Eric's graduation party.

Why isn't you bro going? What's he going to do, stay home and get fatter? What a sell out. Never even had his Cobra to the track once.

Yeah my blower kit mounts on the drivers side and makes you relocate the battery. So now my 13 sec. car will have a switch hanging off the back.

Run whatever class pays out better. Is there a car show too? Maybe I'll put the GT in a show for once?

Well at least you car will look fast with a battery on/off switch hanging out the ass end.

I'll probabally run in the Mod Motor class. I think it pays out better and last year there were less cars in it than the street class. Plus, I'd rather get lose to real car, than a Focus, mini van or 4x4 pick-up. The only bad thing about that is in the street class if you're consistent, you'll have a chance at getting in more passes with more cars. I'll have to find out if the Mod Motor class offers a buy back in or not if you get eliminated early. I sound real confident that I'm going to do good don't I.

There is a car show. It's $25 to enter, $300 for the best of show winner.

Bracket racing is hard IMO. You have sticky tires now? What's the track rules as far as convertibles, roll bars and safety loops and ****? Man, all this talk about racing is making me want to run. If I could only find some sticky tires and a helmet.....

Yeah Brackets are hard, but they're fun and they take skills. I got M/T Et Street Radials and a Hurst line lock(read my sig ).I've got a D/S loop sitting in my trunk that I'll be putting in this Friday. I'm taking the day off of work to do it and also I've got about 9 dozen other things to do before I leave Saturday. If you're not busy, feel free to come by and give me a hand taking the interior out and putting it back together. I've never done it and I know you have so, hint, hint get your ass over to my house. I'll have cold beer waiting for you. I know I'm not making any serious amounts of power to really need a D/S loop, but I'd rather have one on and not need it, then need one and not have it.

I don't have a roll cage yet, but I will in the next couple of years after I put a on a S/C. Not sure what's up with the convertible rules for roll cages now that the 03-04's Cobra verts are 12 second cabiable cars from the factory. I heard there were going to be some revisions made to the rules. I think they were trying to get it to where you didn't need one with a vert as long as you engine was stock Or I'll just run at Norwalk all the time. They really didn't seem to check much when we we down there last month did they?

Just run your Nittos and don't open your trunk in tech. I'm sure they won't check anyway. I've got an extra helmet for you if you need one. Now you have no excuse not to run.

You could always just bolt right through the carpet and paint the boltheads to match.

J/K, it's very straightforward. You won't have any problems.

I'm not gonna race this year. My fuel pressure is dropping now when I hit the gas.
