Ford Tranny on News

I feel this deseves a new posting.

Just came home from work and the wife tells me that on the 11pm news tonight 11/18 (Channel 2 CBS-NY) there's going to be a report on a tranny problem that Ford is aware of.

Wonder if this could be the 3650???

Looks like we ain't the only ones with problems.

It's the 2004 Explorer. It appears that the tranny has a delayed or harsh reverse gear engagement.

My friend and his wife has an 03 or 04 Explorerer, and it was having problems with the tranny not going into reverse. Of course the FORD dealer here didn't wanna warranty it.
