The ford racing x pipe is totally worth it for $120. I can defiently feel a difference in throttle response and just over all. While the directions are shady making it seem that it just slips into place without loosening the cats on the manifolds and cutting about a 1/4 of an inch off the x pipe to make it fit real snugg. It isnt to bad with the install taking only 2 hours. For how cheap it is and the good quality I highly recomend it.

Sounds good but consider spending another 40 for the Pypes and keeping the stock pipe intact for later use or re-enstall when selling or trading.

Were did you order yours from? I have only see them advertised for $139, but I want to order one very soon. Please let me know where you got it, and post some pics of before and after if you have them.

Thanks!
Buster

What I was tyring to say is the Pypes H pipe is only 160 and you dont have to cut the stock pipe. Im sure the stock pipe with the cats is over 1K.

Did you find it necessary to cut the Pypes X to make it fit? Thanks

Hey I got the ford racing xpipe ordered and put on a couple of months ago. I'm glad to see someone else on this forum has one as well. Because before I got it I had posted some questions about it. Just about all the replies said the car was gonna sound like crap and you won't feel much of a difference.
Well I went ahead with the purchase after calling Shelby motorsports and talked to a tech about the part. They had installed them on the 35OH hertz models that are rented out. Anyways he gave it high praises.
I am also a satisfied customer the car growls just a tad more and it is a little more responsive than the stock h I had on it. The price of the pipe is a steal.
