FORD X PIPE

I JUST GOT FORD X PIPE FOR MY 05 AND HAVENT PUT IT ON YET. I ALSO JUST INSTALLED THE SUPREME AXLE BACK'S. HAS ANYONE USED THIS SET UP AND SEEN ANY GAINS. I HAVE GONE 13.30 AT 104 WITH A 1.87 60FT BEFORE ANY EXHAUST WORK AND I KNOW AXLE BACK'S MAKE NO REAL GAIN'S BUT WHAT ABOUT THE X PIPE.

How do you like those axlebacks? I just installed a pair last week-end and found the sound at idle a little strange.(gurgling is the best I can explain it) I am hoping that the Ford x-pipe will improve it.

I would be surprised if you gain much from H pipe back regardless of what you do. The factory exhaust manifolds have a small 2" (appox.) diameter outlet and lot of cast build up making it even smaller. I think with headers you might see some good gains.

I just ported my factory manifold outlet to remove the cast build up and installed an H pipe. Hope to take it to the track soon and see if I've done anything.

YES THEY DO GURGLE I SEE YOU PUT THE X PIPE IN HOW DOES IT SOUND NOW ?

Sorry,have not put it on yet.Hoping to install it next week.Also thinking of buying the BBK shorty headers.
