ford x-plan on mustang?

does anyone know if the x-plan (friends and family) is available for a GT? I have a limited window to get one. I hear it is 500 bucks under invoice price.

Any dealer that would not take a plan on a mustang GT would be stupid!

Xplan discount on a GT is about 1800-2400 off of MSRP (depending on car) and then take the Rebate off that number as well. It might be a good time now because besides the $1000 rebate there is also automatic transmission bonus cash right now.

I don't think you should have a problem. I got x plan on a V6 right after the 2005s came out. If there's a dealer you have done business with, I would suspect they won't turn it down. And you still get the rebates.
Doesn't hurt to ask.
Expect less for a trade in, though.

Can anybody (non Ford or dealership employees) use the X-Plan?

We have the A, D, X, and Z plan.

The A plan is for current Ford employees. Z plan is for Ford retirees.
D plan is for dealership employees.
X plan is for friends/family of Ford employees, suppliers, etc...

Basically unless you are applicable or know someone who can buy the car on A, D, or Z plan, you can qualify for the X-plan.

The easiest way I know is to find a Ford employee (someone you know or family) to give you a X-Plan PIN. The other way is to buy at least 1 share of Ford (F) stock and submit an application. There are other ways of getting the X-Plan PIN.

The X-Plan pricing is (0.996 * Invoice) + $75 which is basically slightly under invoice price. This invoice price is the www.forddirect.com invoice pricing and NOT what you find at KBB, MSN, or Edmund's which do NOT account for the marketing/advertising fees.

The only fees that you do NOT have to pay using the X-Plan are the document/runner/processing fees (about $100).

If you factory order a car with the X-Plan, you get your first initial and last name on the window sticker under the OPTIONS category (e.g. J SMITH)
