Forza 2

Yessir, 360

On a side note, the game does NOT have a drag strip. I repeat, does NOT have a dragstrip. Car paint layers have gone from 400 on Forza 1 to 4000 with this new game. I dont know about you, but I need 1 layer, and thats the base color or primer paint. Im pretty ticked, no drag strip.

How good? I've been waiting for that to help me decide whether or not to buy an XBOX. Very tempting to stay with PCs though (graphics cards have come so much further than the current consoles) but I want a new driving game to replace Gran Turismo, and GTR2 got a bit old after a while.

What car did you start with? I went with a Slobalt and it's done just fine so far for me.

Well, i started with the Focus, and I couldnt catch up to anyone since i race in "Championship" level. So i restarted and went with the slowbalt. I dumped a lot of money into the Lancia Delta since i liked that car on the 1st one. Once you get to level 10, you unlock the Charger... i was a litle under 700hp with the 540 Hemi crate and that thing was horrible. Lost all my money on that non traction toilet.

IM me with all your screen names so i can race you guys with my vtak civic dx

This will be as close as you'll get to GT if not better. I game on my pc as well as my 360 and you'll never replace pc games. They'll always be ahead of the curve but overall I've been very happy with my 360 and hd-dvd player adapter.

If you're looking at getting a 360 I would definately take a long hard look at an HD television if you haven't already. If that's out of reach you can get a vga cable and play the high res version of the games on your monitor or lcd.

I'll find some write ups later but the telemetry on forza 2 is outstanding. It computes 360 times a second. Corvette racing actually took alot of interest in their tire physics developed by turn10(game creators) and toyo. You can watch this telemetry while playing and it's downright amazing. They went far above and beyond on the physics.

I always loved the career modes in the GT series and this game is much like that and should give you plenty of play time.
