found a retro mustang logo, can i put it in my grill?

I found a retro mustang logo in my grandma's possessions... i assume its off of a 67 to 72, im not completely sure its this logo:

Is it possible for me to replace the stock correl and pony with this? A grill delete kit with this possibly?

Or if need be i can just take out the stock pony and replace it with this keep the correl, paint it black or something if need be. I'm just wondering if you guys know the exact years this logo was used in and how i can retro-fit it into the stock pony location.

its possible, just cut out a piece of metal to put that emblem on the mout it where the stock one goes.
