Found great Colorado tuner!

This is to anyone in Colorado looking for someone to tune their forced induction Stang. I've fired every shop in town and was totally frustrated. I have an '01 GT with a P1SC and some other mods. The car ran like junk even after several shops "had tuned hundreds of them" and that "altitude is no problem".

I took it to a shop at 6th and Olathe in Aurora called Speed Innovators. The guys there have a Mustang dyno and burn their own chips. The owner, Chris, refused to give me the car back until he had squeezed every ounce of performance and made the driveability as good as stock.

For those of you that are unfamiliar, a Mustang dyno is a "tuner dyno". It calibrates resistence, whereas a Dynojet is a free-rolling dyno. My GT pulled 387 rwhp and 416 rwt. On a Dynojet that's at least 420 rwhp out of a 2-valve! I no longer have any hot-start issues and, if I want to, can lug the car around town with no problems.

I'm not one to advertise for anyone but, if you're as frustrated as I was, these guys will truly bring the performance out of your car that you expected when you dropped all that cash on your mods.

It's a small shop (husband, wife, partner), with the beginnings of a website - speedinnovatorsracing.com. You're welcome to email me with any questions. I can't say enough good things about these guys.

Hope this helps!

Mike

good to see people finally have good things to say about a shop here. Lately all I've heard is bad things (mostly about the 2 places with Mustang in the name... one just north of castle rock the other north of denver) I'll have to check them out when its time to get my chip.
