Found Oil in Upper Eddy intake

Well pulled off my upper Eldebrock Performer Intake and i found some oil laying inside it right where the plate bolts up to it that say eldebrock on the driver side. this normal what can cause this?

seems to be a common problem with aftermarket intake manifolds, the pcv valve sucks oil up into the manifold...i had some in mine when it was off last...

If you took note to how big the PCV valve baffle was on your new intake and compaired it to your stock one you'd see why it sucks up the oil. Stock baffle covers the whole bottom of the intake, eddy one only covers a little section right under the PCV valve

I spliced in some smaller vaccum hose between the PCV and the intake and it pretty much cured the problem.
