found small chip in cylinder wall, will it be a problem?

hey, I was rebuilding this 3.9l that had rod knock, and I saw a small chip in the cylinder wall. I sanded it down and smoothed it out so nothing catches on to it. It is in the bottom. 1.5 inches but I think the rings still go over it. should it be a problem in the future?
