Found some Bondo

I am finally getting around to striping the old paint off my car when I found some body damage on the drivers door. There is a really thick amount of bondo and I was wondering if anyone has ever replaced the outer door skin on their Mustang and can elaborate on the extent of work needed for that project.
I also see there are complete doors shells for sale but I they are very pricey.

sorry cant be of too much help... other than to say I know they make specific hammers for reskining doors....that might be an indication of how in-depth it is

trust me - if you are not a welder and have not done a door skin before spring for the 375.00 cost for a new shell - you will be soooooo much more happy with the finished product and the amount of cut hands, labor, cussing, confusion etc... will be far less than the final cost.
