The fox is the last of a raw feeling car a car you actually have to drive that doesn't do anything for you it's great to be one with the machine and i hate to tell ya ill bet on a crowded city street a fox will turn more heads then a termi any day !

But she didn’t kill it once so I have to give her that

I apologize in advance if this ends up sounding stupid but I just have to post this.
I freakin' love my Fox! There's just something about rolling old school in a clean Fox, running through the gears, and listening to the deep, throatie sound of a 5.0. There's nothing that sounds quit like it. I just feel totally cool. Even if my kids and wife just don't get it. The best part of my day is the commute to and from work. I spend hours out in the garage just tinkering and polishing. Sometimes I just stare out the window at it in the driveway. When I got married years ago, I gave up the cool cars in order to buy a house and pay bills. Now that I finally have my Fox, sometimes I still can't believe it's mine. Don't get me wrong, I like the newer Mustangs too, but I've wanted a Fox for years. Anyway....thanks

thats cool!.. my wife goes with me to the track to watch me race really i like it that way probably the reason why i have been married for so long. I have my hobbies and she has hers but we support each other, i give her credit tho she will still get on the back of my heavily modded banshee and go for a blast with me lol BTW i dont think my wife 5"2 125 lbs could hold my clutch down anyway ...........isnt your car an auto

I know how you guys feel about your Foxes (the cars, not the wives...). I still have my Mustang and still enjoy it to the core. Original Owner of a 1987 GT. 25 years owning the same car.

I was 24 years old when I bought it. I've had it for more than 1/2 of my life. Talk about a time machine...

BTW, i got rid of the wife, kept the 87. She wanted me to sell it and buy a Mazda...

Fox bodies are the only Mustangs my wife likes so a plus for me cause thats all ive had. We sold her turbo Jetta and bought her a minivan she says as long as she gets to race my car a few times she is ok with the van. Her dad had a twin screw blower on his 85 she drove a few times when she was in high school so i think she can handle mine. Electronic boost control FTW! Also I have been known to sit and stare at mine for longer than i needed too!

Could not have said it better!!! I'm not tinkering and modding the way I used to but I still love feeling I get cruising around in them. I got my first Fox bod in '88 and it's the only type of car I've ever owned.
