i disagree with you i like my auto MORE now of course it wasnt the only reason i didn't just go out looking for a auto and oh first one i see buy it...i found one we both liked it happened to be a auto and i couldn't be happier with my purchase i like it more then a t5...

i really think that t5's are over rated

i really like my aod after i got it rebuilt w/ better internals a transgo shift kit, 2400 stall and an external cooler. it shifts very well. in drive it shifts real high and pulls great on each gear. i prob could of got a higher stall but it is a my daily driver and traffic is a bitch so i think i made the right choice. it chirps the tires on 2 and 3rd.

is it just as fun to man shift an aod then shift a 5-speed

Absolutely not, nothing compares to the feeling of properly powershifting a 5spd.

well my experience is with the aode so maybe its different

i also have a knee injury from hockey when i was younger so holding down my heavy cluth can really make my knee get goofed... the only thing i like about a manual is reving it and dumping the clutch and what not ...besides 5 speeds get me into to much trouble becasue i always seem to have to bad a bad ass behind the wheel and act like a idiot lol thats where my auto lets me have fun shifting and playing without being a jackass lol

Maybe everyone should just have one aod stang, and another 5-speed stang, then you could have the bbest of both worlds

You did not offend me.

I get tired of this childish 5 speed vs AOD crap. They are both 5.0s and both have their places.

I'll pass on the Automatic Stang! Hell when my Daily Driven Truck was wrecked and I had a rental car it was killing me to drive it as I was so freaking bored, I manually shifted the thing just so I wouldnt go crazy, after 48 days I was so happy to give that damn thing back!
