Hello all.
So I have a 1983 Mustang GT hatch. Today I opened the hatch and it would not shut. I later found out in my ignorance that its the striker bushing that needs to be replaced.
So in my attempt to close it I had reset the teeth of the latch to the "Closed" state instead of open and went to shut it like an idiot.
So now my latch needs to be reset the key wont pop it open and I can't pry it open.
Any ideas? I can't be the first idiot to do this.
