That’s terrible news about the Fox, OP. But at least you and your girlfriend are both okay. Law suits are pretty tiresome; hire a good lawyer and get it taken care of. You should get your own automobile insurance to take care of this for now, buy it back and part it out. If you win the law-suit and the other party’s found a fault, your insurance company will recover the money from them and pay you back the deductible.
