Hey guys, the same car that Im getting the engine out of is also giving up a rear with 3.73 gears. Would i just be able to put my axles in the fox rear and put my brakes on the fox rear, and be able to bolt it into my car, or are the rears different?

I'm pretty sure that the fox rear end is slightly narrower than the sn95 rear. Therefore, the axles won't fit. Also, the foxes have drum brakes in the rear so you'd have to transfer over your brakes. Due to the sn95's being 5 lug, you'd have to get 5 lug axles that are the same length as the fox axles.

Negtive captain. You can absolutely use the fox axle housing and transfer all your SN95 stuff over to that housing. Foxbody guys run SN95 axles and brakes all the time. I bet as we speak, there are guys installing SN95 length axles on their foxes. I personally know a handful of guys that have done it.

i know my friend with a 90 5.0 LX hatch has used lotsa sn-95 stuff out back (axles etc.) so it should be pretty easy, even if somethings arent stock for stock, the right combo of parts will work for ya. and BTW urban, greta avater
