I would take Koni Yellows or Bilsteins over the Formula GPs any day of the week.

Does Monroe still make the Formula GP line? I haven't seen anything about them since I purchased my original Saleen in 1989.

Ditto on the Konis. Pricey but worth it.

Mark at Performance autosport has them. I have six new ones already installed on the car.

I am changing the springs to H&R progressive rate. The saleen springs Specific rates) on there make it ride to harsh for me. I am going to wait until I get the springs on and see how it rides before I plunk down another $600+ on the Bilsteins.

Besides, how bad can those Monroes be?

The Monroe's are not bad, they were fine for their time. Today's offerings are better though.

I bet the difference is like a $3000 computer in 1995, and a $3000 computer now lol

IMO that's not worth the trouble or money, and i've had alot of shocks.

What is worth the trouble, is putting energy suspension isolators on all 4 springs, that makes a world of difference.

In my opinion the Bilsteins are the best shocks and struts out there. I've had them on just about every car and Truck I've owned in the last 20 years. I don't have them on the SSC "Yet". But coming soon.
