Fox struts C&C plates???

HMmm i know they are a bit shorter... im not wearing on the inside at all just the outside edge... i think my shocks and struts are shot....so i just picked up some slightly used HP blues for $150 shipped... but im not sure if i should get some C&C plates as well...

Its not the strut size that makes it need to be aligned. its the amount of drop. When you drop it the top of the wheel leans in, C/C plates are needed to fix that. Its the ANGLE of the strut that counts.

Adam, Eric is right. (BTW, did you get my Corral PM about those CC plates?).

Anyhow, the springs are what largely establish ride height. The dampers and tire wear come into play if you're getting wheel hop or other anomalies.

Do you have a picture of your tire (taken from right in front of the tire)?

Wearing the outside of the tire might be a camber or toe issue. Or someone could have set excessive toe-in to combat excessive LCA bushing deflection.

Good luck.
