It should work. With my TKO, its got the fox lenth input shaft, using fox bellhousing, and the steeda hardcore spacer. Dont' know if you need the spacer though.
Just fyi I was told that the only difference between out transmissions were that the SN95's input shafts are 1' longer. I would think the fox bellhousing would fix that. I can also tell you from firsthand experience that a fox t-5 will last about 14 months in our cars It wasn't my fault!
You'll need the Fox bellhousing, clutch fork, and possibly a driveshaft spacer to make up the difference in length between the Fox and SN95 transmissions. I believe Steeda sells a spacer.
My fox T5 lasted 145,000 miles. The clutch cables a a tad different too. Get a fox clutch cable and clutch fork. The input shaft is 5/8" shorter on the 93 and older T5's
I'm running a fox t5 with fox bellhousing and NO SPACER. You don't need a d/s spacer. What you WILL need is to fab a bracket to set the tranny mount on. The stock location will not reach. A welded piece of metal in the front of the cross member will do the trick. I have no issues with the shifter being further up, still enough clearance for comfortable shifting.
You can possibly get away with using no spacer, but I'd personally want to make up the difference, so the yoke engages the output shaft enough. It may not seem to cause any issues, but the yoke will eventually wobble enough to take out the bushing in the tailshaft, or twist the splines on the output shaft with less surface area being in contact with the splines.
Thanks for the info about the bracket that needs to be fabbed up. One less surprise when I actually get underway. As far as the spacer goes, Im not going to be doing any track runs but I think Id still feel more comfortable taking up the slack. I can get the spacer cheap enough. What the hell, right?
