Hey guys, Im buying a set of Fox Body Valve covers from Andy ( Rio5.0 ) He said theres a few of you guys on here running them on your 94-95's. Just wondering if there pretty much a simple swap from the stock covers or if there was any fitment issues at all. Im not sure what Im going to do w/ them yet, Prob just polish them up more to see if I can get anymore shine out of them and then drown them in clear coat . Pic Inclosed.

If you want to polish them, i recomend clear coating them also, or else they wont look pretty for very long.

They are a direct bolt on,although u might need to pull the oil baffle to clear larger rocker arms.

which heads are you going to use?

Depending on which brand you may need thicker valve cover gaskets... I know i did on my TFS heads w/1.6 svo RR's with those valve covers.

But i have a friend that used AFR heads and he had no issues at all with his Fox bodied valve covers..

I dont know about the Cobra intake but on the stock intake you have to grind the back side down where the PCV port is at. Also the EGR area. Pretty easy stuff.

You also need to keep in mind different heads may be taller. On my car I have gt-40 X heads and they are alot taller than stock heads and the back of my alternator was hitting the valve cover, didnt do it with the stock heads. Obviously its a simple fix, but just something to look out for.
