ok does anyone know if the trick flow street heat manifold without a spacer will clear the stock fox body valve covers. Ive got 1.7 roller rockers and im sick of shelling out money for 2 new gaskets everytime(since i have to double them up to make clearance for the rockers) i take the valve covers off. Also could i use the 3/8 spacer for the manifold if i had to?? A friend of mine has a cobra intake on his 94 with a 3/8's spacer and it barely hits the hood blanket, so does neone know if the trick flow street heat will clear fine??

thanks, clayton

I had to use a spacer on mine, and since I needed one I went ahead and got the 1". I also have the Cobra R hood, cause there was no chance of it fitting under the stocker.

I have the Street Heat and Fox V/C's. I use a 3/8's spacer and had to trim the bottom of the EGR valve to clear. Also lengthened the EGR tube from the header to the valve. (BBK headers).
The Upper just rubs the hood liner. Not enough to do anything about though...

Yeah it all depends if you need your egr. I need mine so i just bought the 1" one cause i wasn't gonna waste time sending it back and reordering if it didn't fit. I didn't have to trim anything that way. Also i have the cobra r hood w svo scoop so i didn't have to worry about hitting the hood

My buddy runs Fox VC's on his car with an Edel Intake. Clears fine. That's also what I'm going to use.
