I was going to re tint my window, because small piece kind ripped, but am think about hiding them with some window louvers. Anyone have these on their Foxbody ? I think they look great, and you can still see clearly. Although the price range is around $280, pretty much almost as much as tint. Which would you choose ?

Here is a video of the product

I liked the old 90s aluminum window louvers.

This abs plastic version looks so cheap though

I've loved those things since I was a boy back in the sixties and they had them on the '69-'70 Mach 1's

I love them so much I might go crazy in the end and put one on my hatch!

Gotta agree the metal ones seem so much nicer.

I love them too. I wouldn't mind a set of aluminum ones. Where does tint cost 280 smackeroos?

He's talking about the louvers, McFly.

The tint is "almost as much".

Metal ! I think i'll stick to the plastic. I'm gonna try find some cheaper then that commercial price, but if the wife isn't paying attention to my bank account at some point, i like these in the video. But gotta try to save a dollar. I like em too, gotta do it at some point.

To @madmike1157, the McFly thing, thats funny, lol ..

@elarm1 - yOur mustang rocks !

@Davedacarpainter - definitely will look good on any hatchback

If you want someone's attention, put an @ sign before there name. like this @SF Lex . You should get a notification that you were mentioned in a post. That works the same for anyone's attention you trying to get.

Next you get a sub woofer that buzzes them, the rear plate, and sounds like your car.is always giving the raspberries at stoplights. If everyone else is after Pokemon, might as well pretend we are in the wrong decade, too.

Here's a pic of my '87 GT with louvers. They don't block the rear view at all.

Oh good night that looks good! One more thing I'm going to have to buy for my red car.

I LOVE that look.

Are those aluminum or plastic? Look like the AM ones in the video.

Nice garage btw, AND nice Mach 1 too!

I'm not pretending, this century sucks. Except for the new hot rod stuff of course!

Thanks man. The louvers are plastic. They bolt on to little metal tabs that slide under the window molding.

Man! I looked back on this topic. Do you remember the posts you had back on '08 about louvers?

Your car still looks hot brother.
