So yeah, there are pictures aplenty of the FR500 wheels on mustangs here. But how much do these wheels weigh????? The replica's are inexpensive which is what makes them so enticing, but adversly heavy wheels are definitely a turn off.

QUESTION: How much do replica FR500 17x9" & 17x10.5" wheels weigh????

Bump- i really want to know how much the 18s weigh. I also really want to go with the 17s because of weight, but the wheel gap, even on sportlines turned me off.

yeah, I'm sticking with the 17's because my ride's pretty slammed so fender gap isn't an issue. And smaller wheels weigh less soooooo.......

Any guys retailing these wheels wanna put them on a scale real quick??

I know this isnt much help, but my 10.5" DD Bullitts weigh quite a bit.

I imagine the FR's are similar as they are 10.5" wide also.

My stock 5 spoke GT wheels feel like feathers compared to them.

Thanx for the $.2.....but you're right, that isn't much help

At this point in time, I think I'm going to start calling retailers and asking them to weight the wheels for me.....

Use the search function, someone tried to make a list of all the wheel weights of common mustang rims.

Good job, a sarcastic remark and a roll of the eye's will always get you far with members when you're asking for help.

Assuming you're not going to roll your eyes at me, I had a set of the 18x9 replica's and if I recall correctly, they were around 25-26lbs. I'm sure you could count on the 17x9's to be about a pound or two lighter and the 17x10.5's to be a pound or two heavier.

Here's the thread blubullett mentioned for refference....http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=285393&highlight=Wheel+weights
