If your car is twisting off the line causing traction control problems and snaps in half, than yeah, subframe connectors will aid in getting to the other end of the track without frame damage.
Subframes are an awesome invention. If you wanted to you can use 3 jackstands to hold the car up, try doing that without subframe connectors. "Seriously dont do it though, i was just experimenting i never got under the car"
