ok so i got bored today and had a spare shift handle laying around. I have been looking around at different shifters and handle combinations and decided to experiment. First off all I did this purely because i am a creature of comfort and got tired of taking my elbow off the armrest to hit 3rd and 5th. I bent the shift handle into a more constant curve instead of the z such as the rock crusher handle. I just layed it on some concrete put a rubber mat under the threads for the shift knob and took a BFH to the bend in the fattest part of the handle. afterwards beating the tar out of it and getting the curvature i wanted i cut off 3/4 an inch from the threaded end to lower the knob just barely so my hand/wrist wasnt at a 90 degree angle down when i hit 2nd, 4th, and reverse, its late now so pics of the overall finish will come tomorrow. I love it twice as much now as i did stock MUCH more comfortable Yes i know this was probbaly a stupid idea

I messed around with a stock handle a few years, and after having a Pro-50 and then trying the mod stocker I just can't like it. The stock handle has that rubber bushing at the bottom and after having an aftermarket one the stocker feels like a limp noodle in my hand...

Ahhh....I remember modifying my stock shifter too. Added solid bushings to the handle to get rid of the slop, shortened it about 3/4" and changed it's angle a little too. I even welded in some shift stops. It actually worked really well.
