i know thats what made me pee. that is way to much, gt500's are 60k and they think they'll get 80 for that?

Wow thats an awesome deal especially over here in Oregon. I stopped over at a dealerhip in downtown Portland and they wanted almost 89k for one! Maybe one day when I graduate from college

As cool as the Saleen is I think I'd still take a Shelby. Not for $60k though.

Well, they do say Power In The Hands Of A Few. I guess it's true when the dealers ask rediculous prices for them.

I was looking at buying one and the sales guy started in on "we think, given the nature of the car that we will take offers starting at 30K over sticker." Then the best part, he told me how they still had two coming in that were available because the people who had put the deposit down backed out...yeah when they heard you wanted 30k over sticker! Like BT said they can be had for 43k maybe just not around here, dealers they crack me up!



Oh and for 80K I'll be shopping for a porsche, but thats just me

There's a couple of GT 500's for sale in the area for $58-60k, and they don't seem to be leaping off the lot. I've told every dealer that will listen that as soon as they will sell me the Shelby I want for sticker, they have a sale. I've had 2 sales managers tell me that that will probably happen by early spring, but they're still hoping to "rape the willing" right now.
