Front Bullitt wheels 17X9

ive done some research, but read a lot of mixed up replys. i was wondering what is the cheapest way to get these wheels on? i have a 89 notch, ill need to do a 5 lug conversion. Seen people charge $200 - $500 for the kits. i dont know if the $200 kits will allow me put bullitt wheel cap on. Does anyone make a cheap front 5 lug brake rotor that will allow these rims to go on with stock caliper so i can still be able to put the bullitt wheel cap on.

If you are talking the SN95 style Bullitt wheels, then in short, NO. The only way to safely put them on your car and run the center cap is to go with 94-95 Sn95 front spindles and some version of the 94-04 front calipers and rotors. Blame Ford for the long nose design of the Fox rotor/spindle combination.

Your other option is to run 17x8 wheels with a spacer, but that would require longer wheel studs and is generally not considered to be the safest solution. A 17x9 also might be a tight fit and would probably require some fender clearancing and a smaller than optimal front tire.

Well guess i'll run the fronts without the cap for now, and do the conversion 94-95 SN95 later.

BTW do you know if ill be able to run the wheels without the cap would it even fit on a cheap 5 lug rotor conversion?

Do you have the wheels?

Go to auto parts store and buy a rotor for an 90 Mark 7. It's the same rotor as what comes in the cheapo conversions. You can then test fit the wheels.

Some wheels will bolt but not be able to use the center cap, others will require a spacer just to bolt on (which is a bad idea)

Then return the rotor when you are done
