2000 gt so I just read somewhere that the front shock absorbers are a weld in item? I hope not because its only 30 bucks for new one that look like bolt in but I could be wrong

I couldn't see where its bolts on. From what I read and looked at the factory ones are welded with all aftermarket ones being bolt on. Im still trying to find a diagram or something. One of these days I'll get back under it

If they are welded on you can buy a weld cutter at harbor freight for 7.99. Drill 1/8" pilot hole in the center of the welds then put the weld cutter in the drill and drill them out. Then bolt your new ones on.
