I am in the process of redoing my suspension. In the future I plan on getting the MM K-member and their tubular control arms to make a little extra room for running the plumbing for turbos. The problem is that I don't have the cash to drop on new control arms and a k-membem. Rather than dropping $160 on 2003 Cobra control arms or $100 for new control arm bushings I figured that I would try my hand at making new bushings myself.

What are the maximum outside diameters of the two different sizes of bushings (roughly)? If you have aftermarket or cobra control arms, could you measure the bushings for more exact dimensions?

Thanks a lot!

If you go steeda.com you can get the new control arm bushing for $100 bucks and they are very good. It it perfect for street and track. I have them and it works perfect. I have them on my fordracing(04 cobra) control arms.

I saved you money

If you are upgrading later and you just want something newer/cleaner why not get some newer GT a-arms? I got my cobra ones for free.

I imagine your free cobra control arms were just a chance of luck, right?

The way I was thinking, I should be able to get by with about $10 in materials if I made my own. I've got the time and access to a very nice lathe, so I figure why not.
